My android phone stopped counting my steps. What should I do?

If fitAnalytica has stopped counting your steps, it is usually caused by missing permissions or device settings restricting motion tracking.

To restore step counting, make sure Physical Activity permission is enabled and Location access is allowed while using the app with precise location turned on.

How to check permissions on Android?

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Apps
  3. Select fitAnalytica
  4. Tap Permissions

Enable these permissions

1. Physical Activity

  • Tap Physical Activity
  • Select Allow

2. Location

  • Tap Location
  • Select Allow only while using the app
  • Enable Use Precise Location

Additional Tips

  • Restart your phone after changing permissions
  • Make sure fitAnalytica is updated to the latest version
  • Enable battery optimization for fitAnalytica if step counting still pauses in the background
